Tulugarnaq — Black Pteropod (Mollusca)

Tulugarnaq is a small black mollusc that is common in the ocean. Its chief characteristics are its black colour and the way it “flaps” its way through the water using two “wings”. These attributes earned it its name, “little sea raven”, and also reflect the legend of how it originated from an unfortunate raven.
